Luke 23:33

Jesus still speaks from His Cross on Calvary. May we see, hear and feel His Presence daily.

Calvary Hill is a Battlefield, an Altar, a Meeting place, a Pulpit and Judgment Throne

Place of Pain: Physical, Mental and Spiritual

Place of Pardon: For the thief, the mob and us

3 Men Crucified one who gave salvation, one who despised, one who received it.

Hill of 3 Cross’s

The cross of Redemption - dying for sin

The cross of Rebellion - dying in sin

The cross of Repentance - dying to sin

One of 3 Cross’s Everyone is crucified on one of these crosses.

The Sacrifice Of Self – Sin Of Selfishness — Surrender Of Self

Last of all comes the best of all to see and feel the unconditional Love for all who hear God calling us by name to say, “in my eyes You’re SomeOne Special, now Go and tell others.”

What is Christmas?

Christmas is more than a Time a Place or a Holiday. It is a 24/365 relationship with a Person.

Sometime it takes years to realize Christmas may be enjoyed everyday in a Person’s presence. Being a Good Samaritan opens ones eyes to see Christmas in many different daily ways.

Maybe it comes in seeing a Bill “H” or a Danny “M” who suffers a lost loved one and goes on to write a Global book on “Precious Memories” or someone who marries a lady who becomes ill and later giving birth to a baby Boy almost dies but thru prayer makes a miracle recovery.

How about a Secret Santa Claus giving money away to strangers or a relative going to help a family member who almost dies, yet lives because God had a plan to involve others.

What about a wife, who supports her husband in the pulpit, or a wife who guides a loved one through an operation.

Can you see Christmas in the joy from a Dog who shows his love & faithfulness? Or a Pakistan Pastor touching Souls for Jesus in Iran ?

Perhaps one of the best pictures of Christmas, seen in a human being is a holocaust survivor at age 10 who looses his family, escapes to Jerusalem and for some 65 years has been on the streets telling people about a Person. In 1980 I met such a man and he showed us where he fought the 6 wars in that area. Later Zvi “K” took us to have dinner with his small family.

It wasn’t until years later did I realized this Person, Jesus Spirit, had let us have a special Christmas because of Zvi “K” who had arranged the entire trip. It is possible we can miss Christmas most of the year unless we are looking for the right answer of “What is Christmas” and really Christmas is a Person whose Presence is as close as you want it to be.
