If Rescued, Would You Remember?
Periodically one concept surfaces that will revolutionize the thinking and action of millions. We believe the SOS Code Symbol pin will do just that. You may ask, How? .. The pin (Morse Code of 3 dots/3 dashes/ 3 dots) is Universal in its scope "Into all the world"; Individual in its appeal "To every creature"; Practical in its purpose "Make disciples of all nations"; and Personal in its obligation "go". Everyone knows that SOS is an International distress cry for help. It now has become the "Eternal Distress Relief Symbol" to a dying world. Would you not agree that in one/form or another everyone has a Sense Of Survival and, in many cases, a Sense Of Starvation? Are you not Sick Of Sin? Are you guilty of the Sin Of Silence? This SOS Code Symbol pin with its "sententious expressions" ... all SOS's ... will help verbalize the seriousness Of Sin to those who ask you what the pin means ... the pin objectifies a response. When the individual asks, he is seeking information and his hearts' door is open for an answer and in this case "Truth" ... Jesus Christ. What is more ... the pin has memory recall. Hence, if rescued, would you not remember?
There are numerous examples in the Old as well as the New Testaments of individuals who "cried out" to God for help. David in Ps. 141 vs. 1 ... "Lord, I cry unto thee, make haste unto me." Did not the thief on the cross "cry out" at the very end of his life to Jesus for help? Some critics say the thief "stole his way into heaven".
Our mission is the Great Commission ... to bring Lost Souls to the knowledge of a loving God through His Son, Jesus Christ. We learn in Isaiah 9-12/17/& 21 ... "but His Hand is Stretched Out Still". This message is to us as well as to those we should be trying to reach. The message to us is that in Him we find the Strength Of Salvation, and this strength should be shared. Our daily prayer to God for Sending One Soul our way should be as diligent as the knowledge His Hand is continually "Still" out to us to answer any and all calls for help we may send.
Therefore, WHO WEARS THE SOS PIN? Those who have recognized the Deity of Jesus and have responded to his call. Witnessing should be as natural as breathing is to our body. Remember this pin is our "help mate". Man's natural curiosity and natural desire will cause him/her to ask.
WHAT DOES THE WITNESS SAY IN RESPONSE? If rescued would you not remember? Using the SOS's from the blue display card (on which the pin is attached) or creating your own will give you more than sufficient material to use in your witness. Remember when you pray for that one soul daily, you are also praying for the inspiration of the Holy Spirit to assist you in this rescue effort. You will have the Spirit Of Success at your side.
